FLORENCE - University of North Alabama senior Chloe Roberts was named to the first team of the Daktronics NCAA Division II All-South Region Women's Soccer team for the fourth straight year.
She's one of four other Lions selected for second-team all-region honors.
Roberts, who ranks in the top 10 in Division II history in both career goals scored and career points scored, added 17 goals and 10 assists this season in leading UNA to a 13-6-1 record and a fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division II Tournament. Her final career numbers stand at 93 goals, 51 assists and 237 points.
She is the only player in Gulf South Conference history to average more than a goal per match over a four year career (93 goals in 83 matches) and is one of 25 players in Division II history to record at least 40 career goals and 40 career assists.
A native of Plymouth, England, Roberts has been selected first team All-Gulf South Conference and first team All-South Region four straight years. She is also a three-time all-American.
Named to the second team All-South Region squad from UNA were junior forward Jennifer Osmond of Southampton, England, senior midfielder Jo Chubb of Crawley, England, senior midfielder Nikki Brown of Bognor Regis, England, and junior defender Julia Osmond of Southampton, England.
Brown is a four-time All-South Region selection, earning first-team honors in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Chubb is also a four-time all-region pick, earning honors in 2009-11 from the NSCAA.
Julia Osmond is a three-time All-South Region pick, also being named second-team in 2009 and 2010. Jennifer Osmond was first-team All-South Region in 2011.
