Be prepared to act

Left-wing politicians want to pressure lending institutions to stop lending money to assault weapons manufacturers. This is treading in dangerous waters for a free society, setting a bad precedence, for if successful, could escalate to satisfying the whim of any future politician.

Background checks should be enforced, but would in no way affect criminal gangs that steal or get their weapons illegally. Gun-free zones like Chicago are killing grounds with 40 murders this month. Mayor Emanuel should enforce this weapons ban on his corrupt city before pushing it on law-abiding citizens.

President Barack Obama is the best friend gun manufacturers have because the people behind this gun-buying frenzy are law-abiding citizens afraid of his intentions. They want to be prepared to protect their families should thugs reach out from their crime-infested wastelands into Mayberry RFD.

The media focus on these lone-wolf shooters, as they should, but never a negative word about ruthless armed gangs taking over our cities, making them uninhabitable for decent people.

If guns were the problem, Switzerland would be a killing field. It’s the culture. Parental control, more so than gun control. Compare the culture of Switzerland to the scum that have destroyed our once beautiful cities. Be prepared should trouble come calling because dialing 9-1-1 will be futile.
