Beer garden back for Oktoberfest

ST. FLORIAN — The popular beer garden is back for the 2012 Oktoberfest celebration this weekend in St. Florian.

St. Florian Town Clerk Carlene Moomaw said after a one-year absence, festival organizers were able to find a way to bring it back.

The festival is Saturday and Sunday at St. Florian park, but the beer garden is only open Saturday.

Events begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and continue until dark when the evening will end with a fireworks display.

Sunday the festival is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There is no admission or parking fee.

Music and arts and crafts vendors are planned for both days.
