Beyond serious

We have too many congressmen. We need a reduction to approximately 210 in the House and 50 in the Senate. These two houses have become cumbersome and it’s well known they don’t get along at any session.

Have they placed this nation in jeopardy? S&P is looking strongly at us, and creditors are nervous. Our interest on a $16 trillion debt could cost us $1 trillion a year if rates go to 5 percent. This is no way to run a nation.

Don’t say this is serious. It’s beyond serious. This is what greed, lust for power, taking care of everyone but your own people will get you. Instead of a nation greater than all, you have a nation grasping for solutions to make this a viable nation again.

The scary thing here, we have a government that has gotten us to this fiasco and the same people who can’t stand each other (Democrats and Republicans) preparing to solve our dilemma.

I hope we have a group to stand before we go the way of the Roman Empire!
