FLORENCE -- Brittany Howard, lead vocalist for the popular Alabama Shakes, will participate in an all-star concert following the premier of the "Muscle Shoals" documentary.
The film will debut in the Shoals Wednesday at the Marriott Hotel & Spa Conference Center in Florence.
Tickets for the premier are moving briskly, according to event spokeswoman Judy Hood.
Guest stars include John Paul White, one half of the Grammy Award winning folk duo The Civil Wars, soul singer Candi Staton, blues/rock artist Delbert McClinton, Christing Olhman of the Saturday Night Live Band, former Grateful Dead vocalist and solo artist Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay and former Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Ed King.
