Caution urged as road construction continues
By Russ Corey
The TimesDaily

FLORENCE — The right lane of Cox Creek Parkway just west of the Cloverdale Road intersection remains closed as contractors construct an entrance to the new Wal-Mart supercenter.

Stanley Construction of Huntsville and Oakley Excavating of Florence are moving dirt from the site and constructing the drainage system.

Contractors are building a road to the site of the new store, which will be located on property fronting Cloverdale Road.

Drivers should be aware of workers and construction equipment, as well as dump trucks entering and exiting the work site.
