Edwards wins Florence District 5

FLORENCE — Blake Edwards has won the Florence Council, District 5 seat by 121 votes.

Unofficial results show Edwards with 613 votes and Coy Bramlett with 492. The District 5 contest was the only race on the ballot in Florence.

Edwards will replace Councilman James Barnhart, who did not seek re-election.
