A strong cold front headed toward northwest Alabama and southern middle Tennessee should drop high temperatures 20 degrees below normal Sunday and set up possible frost Monday morning.
The change in weather will begin tonight and Saturday with a 30 percent chance of showers. The high temperature Saturday should be 64 — about 20 degrees lower than today — with a north wind 10-15 mph.
Sunday should be partly sunny and cool with a high of 59. The low is forecast for 40 degrees Sunday night and 39 on Monday night, with the possibly of patchy frost.
