Fire at Wilson Elementary extinguished

FLORENCE — A fire in the janitor’s closest at Wilson Elementary School was brought under control before it did any damage this morning, officials said.

The fire was reported about 9 a.m., and members of the Zip City Volunteer Fire Department were able to extinguish it. No one was injured, officials said.
