Rip Van Winkle we have! I’m surprised they aren’t growing beards. After 20 years Congress and the president are waking up to a fiscal cliff. The fiscal cliff could have been snuffed out with alert congressmen and some leaders. Now it’s the talk of the 21st century. All at once they realize we have a problem.
We the people, really have the problem. We are saddled with 535 people who are dense up to their eyebrows.
These are the people who are going to fix the $16 trillion deficit and balance a budget that has been delayed for 20 years. What are the odds on that happening? The super committee tells us of their expertise (ouch).
If they don’t solve this, there will be chaos, a valueless dollar, and the crash of ’29 will look like a nice day in the park.
These people have not done anything right in 20 years, and if they don’t get some financial brains and get rid of lobbyists and consultants we are doomed to a third class nation or bankruptcy. Don’t write Washington, D.C. That is a waste. You can either march on Washington in the millions or get the news media to blast them out of their apathy.
