Franklin, Russellville schools closing at 2 p.m.

Franklin County and Russellville City schools are closing at 2 p.m. today, due to the threat of inclement weather.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory, expecting a chance for minor icing, with accumulations of less than one-tenth of an inch.

Weather service officials also are concerned about the possibility of flash flooding.
