Citizens of Alabama, the general election was over Nov. 6, 2012, and President Obama was re-elected for another four years. As a state, we did not elect him but he did not need our electoral votes to get back in office.

We need to take a shot or pill, swallow our hatred and pride and get on with living. If you continue to fester ill-wills because of the election you will cause health problems for yourself and you may need Obamacare.

President Obama may not have been your choice but he is our president, so accept it because you can’t change it.

If you want to see changes, contact our senators and representatives to do some teamwork to bring about the changes.

Succession is not the answer because Alabama depends on funds from the federal government to function.

We suffer enough. Why even attempt to subject us to more suffering?
