A line of thunderstorms Tuesday night and Wednesday morning could carry damaging wind gusts, heavy rainfall and a slight threat of isolated tornadoes.
A hazardous weather advisory from the National Weather Service office in Huntsville states the storms are expected to develop ahead of and along a cold front that will drop temperatures from an unseasonably warm Tuesday afternoon high of 73 to a low Wednesday night of 31.
The chance of rain is 80 percent Tuesday night and 70 percent Wednesday. Winds will be 10 to 20 mph.
The cold front also brings a slight chance of light snow in southern middle Tennessee on Thursday night, according to the weather service. Little, if any, accumulation is expected.
