Huntsville man charged with murder after wife, son found dead

HUNTSVILLE (AP) — Police in Huntsville say the husband and father of a woman and boy found dead in their southeast Huntsville home is in custody as part of a homicide investigation.

Al.com repoted that the bodies of 32-year-old Krista Stone and 7-year-old Zachery Stone were found Sunday morning.

Police said they responded to the home after a request to check on the welfare of the occupants around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police said Stephen Stone has been charged with two counts of capital murder. He was being held without bond. It wasn't known Monday morning whether he has an attorney in case.

Few other details of the case were immediately available.
