Muscle Shoals cotton farmer Neal Isbell has been re-elected as Alabama’s co-chairman of the American Cotton Producers.
Isbell will handle responsibilities of the vice chairman for the Alabama unit of the National Cotton Council.
Isbell will have input on establishing national policy for the council, which represents 17 cotton-producing states.
The U.S. cotton industry provides employment for about 200,000 Americans and generates more than $100 billion in annual economic activity.
