It’s an ongoing process

This country needs some soul searching and soul searchers. The government of the United States is for the people and by the people. This does not mean that you have a right to get your way all the time. If your wants are extreme, you may not ever get what you want.

That does not make our government wrong. It makes you wrong. The hate groups, the secession movement, the fear mongers and the anarchist are just wrong. That does not mean that everything that the government does is correct, it just means that we are working on it and working to improve it.

Government is an ongoing process that is never finished. There can never be too much government. If you want a government that can defend itself and its citizens from evil, then it must be strong, well funded, and attuned to the needs of itself.

Why should the American government exist except for its citizens? It is not here to provide a place for people to get rich or for people to gain power over others or for you to get your way when you want to have a tantrum. The government exists for all its citizens. Not just for white ones, blond ones, sweet ones, bad ones but all its citizens whether you like them or not. Their place and space in the U.S. is just as important as yours.

Our government does represent the will of the people. We just had an election that proves it. You just lost, get over it. Laws or mandates as you call them are necessary in any civilized society. Everyone must follow the rules, even the one you don't like. Everyone has a right to be protected from evil.
