Letter to the editor

It's hard to fix stupid

It dawned on me recently why the TimesDaily allows the You Said It comments to be anonymous. Some of the contributors using this forum are sadly suffering from being misinformed.

One You Said It comment rambled on: “I love Alabama the beautiful, to bad roads and parks to the poor pay all the taxes because it’s the fault of the rich.”

OK, I’ll play along.

Dear Poor, please keep paying all the taxes as you stated because we the middle class enjoy not paying a dime in taxes either. It’s hard to fix stupid.
