Key Club brings cheer to students
Matt McKean/TimesDaily
Keyaris Davis, 6, reacts as she plays a game at the Christmas party held in the Florence High School library. Key Club members entertained 30 students from Weeden Elementary School with games and gifts.

The Florence High School Key Club members Friday shared Christmas a little early with about 30 younger students. The high school group, which raised money to help the children purchase Christmas gifts, spent the day shopping with the children, then hosted a luncheon whereby they got the chance to play games and visit with Santa. The group holds the program annually, and this year raised more than $2,100 to purchase coats, gloves, hats, books and toys for each child.
