Lauderdale kindergarten registration set

Lauderdale County schools will begin registering children for kindergarten March 1.

Registrants must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 2 to be eligible.

Required for enrollment is the child's birth certificate, Social Security card or temporary school assigned number and certificate of exemption or certificate of immunization.

All registration clinics begin at 8:30 a.m. at the students' prospective schools.

Registration dates include Anderson, March 1; Waterloo, March 8; Lauderdale County school, Lexington, Underwood and Wilson, March 15; Brooks, Central and Rogers, March 22.
