Colbert County sheriff

Marquita R. Mills, 28, 1104 E. Eighth St., Tuscumbia; grand jury indictment for unlawful distribution of a controlled substance.

Rico Bernard Goodwin, 40, 2250 Lincoln Ave., Leighton; unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Jonathan A. Wallace, 23, 109 W. Bailey Springs Drive, Florence; four counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

Wallace E. Cofffey,25, 118 S. Cherokee St., Florence; grand jury indictment for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

Quintano J. Love, 19, 303B Handy Homes, Florence; grand jury indictment for breaking and entering a motor vehicle.

Thefts

A pontoon boat and trailer were taken from a residence at Riverton Rose Trail.
Recovered property

A 1995 Chevrolet S-10 truck was recovered at Cooks Lane, west of U.S. 43,
Tuscumbia.

Lauderdale County sheriff

Burglaries

Collectible coins, a laptop, 24-inch television, a silver necklace, watch and jewelry were taken from a residence in the 300 block of Shelia Street, Florence.

A .22-caliber rifle, .38-caliber pistol, nine half dollars, various rolled quarters and rolled dimes were taken from a residence in the 400 block of Lauderdale 140, Killen.

Thefts

Two bottles of prescription pills were taken from a residence in the 2600 block of Lauderdale 24, Florence.

A hydraulic pump, antique sewing machine and other equipment were
taken from a residence in the 100 block of McGuire Road, Florence.

Burglaries

Cash totaling $200 and a 32-inch television were taken from a residence in the 1200 block of Hermitage Drive.

Six pairs of jeans, six pairs of shorts and six pairs of underwear were taken from a residence in the 1400 block of Carver Heights.

A money drawer with change was taken from a business on Howell Street.

A laptop was taken from a residence in the 1700 block of North Wood Avenue.

A Direct TV box, Xbox 360 and 60-inch television were taken from a residence in the 500 block of West Mobile Street.

Criminal mischief

A 1991 Pontiac Sunbird was damaged while parked in the 200 block of Baldwin Street.

A 1998 white Mercury Tracer was damaged while parked in the 200 block of North Orleans Street.

A residence in the 500 block of Hermitage Drive was damaged.

A 2006 Chrysler Town and Country van was damaged while parked on North Court Street near Tombigbee Street.


A glass door was damaged at a business in the 300 block of East Tennessee Street.

Breaking and entering

A laptop was taken from a 2004 white Toyota Tundra parked in the 1500 block of Helton Drive.

Thefts

An electronic tablet was taken from a residence in the 1300 block of Hermitage Drive.

Prescription pills were taken from a residence in the 2500 block of Hough Road.

A 1997 blue Chevrolet Tahoe was taken from a residence in the 2900 block of Huntsville Road.

Copper tubing was taken from a cooler compressor in the 1800 block of Darby Drive.
