Man charged in burglary
RUSSELLVILLE — A local man is in jail accused of burglarizing a Russellville residence in September, authorities said.
Randy Dewayne Price Jr., 34, 823 Scott Ave., Russellville, is charged with third-degree burglary and a probation violation, Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said Friday.
Hargett said Price is accused of taking fishing equipment, knives and an electric razor from a house in the 400 block of North Jefferson Street on Sept. 27.
“The items were located at a local pawn shop, and after picking up a couple of people for questioning we were able to determine that Price was the person who did the burglary,” Russellville police investigator Lt. Scotty Lowery said.
Lowery said Price was out of jail on bond from a pending arrest when the burglary took place.
Reports indicate Price’s previous arrest was for a prior burglary.
Price is being held in the Franklin County Jail without bail.
