ARRESTS Colbert County sheriff Keith A. Thomas, 51, Cullman; grand jury indictment for unlawful manufacturing a controlled substance. Sheffield police Thefts A chain saw and case were taken from a residence in the 200 block of Fort Loudon Street. A hot water heater and two ceiling fans were taken from a residence in the 800 block of West Montgomery Avenue. A purse, clothing and several bottles of air freshener were taken from a residence in the 800 block of South Montgomery Avenue. A 1998 white Ford truck was taken from a residence in the 900 block of South Atlanta Avenue. A laptop was taken from a business on South Montgomery Avenue. Three cartons of cigarettes were taken from a business in the 3800 block of Hatch Boulevard. An iPhone, driver’s license and cellphone case were taken from a business on Hatch Boulevard. Breaking and entering Cash totaling $15 was taken from a 2002 gold Nissan Xterra parked in the 1400 block of East 26th Street. A car radio and CD player were taken from a red 1989 Chevrolet Camaro parked in the 300 block of West Montgomery Avenue. A year sticker was taken off a license plate from a 2001 Ford truck parked in the 100 block of Crestline Drive. Burglaries A television was taken from a residence in the 300 block of Annapolis Avenue. Criminal mischief A residence was damaged on Autumn Way.
A .38-caliber pistol was taken from a residence on Osborn Hill Road, Tuscumbia.
Burglaries
A guitar and case, $650 cash, bear hunting bow with arrow and tips, two pairs of sunglasses with extra lens, a 20-gauge shotgun and gold wedding band with small diamonds were taken from a residence in the 200 block of Lauderdale 103, Killen.
Thefts
$400 in cash was taken from a residence in the 6300 block of U.S. 43, Florence.
A 2010 Kabota utility vehicle was taken from a residence in the 100 block of Lauderdale 28, Florence.
