Police seek car burglary details
FLORENCE — Police have recovered several items they said were taken in car burglaries Thursday night in the Forest Hills neighborhood.
Now, detectives are trying to determine how many cars were burglarized.
“We have recovered property from at least two car burglaries and there could be more,” police detective Drew Harless said. “We need people in Forest Hills to check their vehicles to make sure they were not broken into. If they find there is something missing or that their cars were broken into, they need to contact the Police Department.
“We want to get this property back to the rightful owner,” he said.
He said thefts likely occurred between midnight and 1 a.m. Friday. Anyone with any information is asked to call 256-768-2728.
