LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. — A local man is in jail on a grand jury indictment accusing him of raping a teenage boy, officials said.

Christopher Lee Eddins, 39, 30 Hawthorn Drive, Lawrenceburg, is charged with rape after he was indicted in the January session of the Lawrence County Grand Jury, courthouse officials said.

Authorities said today that the victim, who is now 15, was 13 at the time the incidents happened.

Reports indicate the incidents took place in 2011, but were not reported until July 2012.

Eddins is in the Lawrence County Jail.
