LEIGHTON — The town of Leighton is hosting the first Pink Pumpkin Fall Festival on Oct. 27. Events will all start at City Hall.

The event will feature several bicycle and run/walk races.

Registration for all races begins at 6:30 a.m. and the first cycling race will start at 7 a.m.

Bike riders will choose between an 18.2-mile course or a 27.3-mile route. For runners and walkers, the 5K race begins at 9 a.m. and the one-mile fun run begins at 10 a.m.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group and T-shirts will be given to all participants.

Registration fees are $25 for cyclists, $15 for the 5K and $10 for the fun run.

After the races, food, music and other entertainment will begin. There will also be arts and crafts vendors.
