ATHENS – A Limestone County man was charged with murder after allegedly killing his cousin in a dispute over borrowed movies, Sheriff Mike Blakeley said.

Kenny Dewayne Adams, 35, is accused of stabbing Yancy Foster, 34, with a knife during a fight Monday at 2:36 p.m. in the Crisway Apple trailer park on Blackburn Road, Blakely said.

Both men were neighbors in the trailer park west of Athens.

Blakely said Adams apparently stabbed Foster once in the chest at the victim’s mobile home during the altercation. Foster died as MedFlight flew him to an area hospital.

Adams was being held in Limestone County Jail. Bond had not been set.
