New organization targets nonprofits

FLORENCE — There will be a meeting Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at Indie Spaces in downtown Florence for any interested representative of a nonprofit organization who would like to be involved with a new management services organization starting in the Shoals.

The organization is called MVP (Mission, Vision, Purpose) Shoals, which will act as a central hub for local nonprofits, offering training, consulting, support and opportunities for collaboration and networking.

With a web site under construction, nonprofits will soon be able to post job openings, volunteer opportunities, events and contact information as well as links to various sites.

Additional information on MVP is available online at info@mvpshoals.com
