LEXINGTON — Residents are urged to attend a meeting tonight that could help decide the future of Lexington's post office.
The U.S. Postal Service will be conducting a meeting at the Lexington Town Hall to get input on what the future should be for the post office.
U.S. Postal Service officials said Lexington's post office is being evaluated for a possible change in service. Among the options under consideration is closing the facility.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. today at Town Hall. The public is invited.

The first class will be at 6:30 p.m. today in the Town Creek Community Center on Main Street.
Anyone interested in learning how to spot severe weather is encouraged to attend.
