Northwest-Shoals Foundation accepting scholarship applications

MUSCLE SHOALS — Applications for Northwest-Shoals Community College Foundation scholarships for upcoming high school graduates are due by March 5.

The scholarships are given through the college’s foundation and are awarded based on availability of funds.

To be eligible, potential students must complete a Northwest-Shoals admissions application and a federal financial aid, FASFA, application.

Applicants also must write a 300-500 word essay. Instructions about the essay and other information about the scholarships is at nwscc.edu/foundationscholarship/foundationchoosescholarship.html.
