LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. — A man, authorities said has a long history of drug convictions, is back in jail on more drug charges, officials said.

Malcom Lee Willis, 72, 211 Cherry Ave., St. Joseph, Tenn., is charged with possession of a controlled substance schedule for resale, authorities said.

Capt. Adam Brewer of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office said Willis was selling prescription pills.

Brewer said Willis is on parole for prior drug charges.

Brewer said the arrest came after an undercover operation was conducted by the sheriff’s office and the St. Joseph Police Department.

He is being held in the Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
