Paying for others' mistakes

I cannot believe any politician would have the gall to want to cut Social Security and Medicare for senior citizens and raise ages and premiums with less coverage for medical care instead of cutting on pork barrel projects and wasted greedy and selfish programs loaded with billions of dollars in waste.

This includes restructuring overseas budgets to countries that misuse billions of our dollars while our senior citizens and mental health institutions and other needed American programs and issues suffer.

I always heard take of your own family first, then reach out to help other people in need if possible.

Unfortunately, our politicians have the priorities confused or for their own personal agendas purposely are misusing taxpayers money. The shame of it is, we all have to pay for their mistakes
