WATERLOO — Rodney Camp had another huge night and so did his receivers Tyler Crumpton and Austin Mitchell.
Camp, who puts up video game numbers each week, threw for 316 yards and six touchdowns as Phillips
beat Waterloo. Crumpton caught six passes for 173 yards, including four TDs, and Mitchell caught three passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns as the Bears (4-2, 3-1) stayed in the playoff hunt.
Bradley Darby rushed for 132 yards and one touchdown for the Cougars, who also got 109 yards and a score from Bobby Fox.
Camp opened the scoring with a 30-yard TD run. He added TD passes of 70 yards to Mitchell and 22 and 94 yards to Crumpton as Phillips opened a 30-0 lead.
Wayne Darby scored for Waterloo to end the half, trimming the lead to 30-6.
Camp connected with Crumpton from 22 yards and with Mitchell on a 40-yard TD pass in the third quarter. He closed out his night with a 6-yard TD pass to Crumpton in the fourth quarter.
Fox scored on a 1-yard run and Wayne Darby ran the conversion for Waterloo. Bradley Darby got Waterloo’s final score on a 6-yard run. Nelson McClish ran the conversion.
