Police investigate pharmacy burglary in Tuscumbia

TUSCUMBIA — Police are investigating the early-morning burglary of a local pharmacy, officials said.

Tuscumbia Police Chief Tony Logan said the burglary happened at Family Pharmacy on Avalon Avenue around 1 a.m. today.

Logan said the front glass door was broken out and bottles of Xanax and blood pressure medication were taken.
