Keyonda Mason tallied 13 kills, seven blocks and five digs to lead Deshler to a 25-7, 25-9, 25-11 area win over Colbert County on Tuesday at Deshler.

Julia Burton added 12 kills, two digs and a block for the Tigers (30-9), who remain undefeated in Class 3A, Area 16.

Lauren Cantrell dished out 16 assists, while Sydney Malone had 11.

n Deshler 2, Central 0: Mason turned in six kills and three blocks in the 25-8, 25-15 win.

Burton added seven kills, Cantrell had nine assists and five digs and Malone added five assists and five digs.

n Lexington 2, Rogers 0: Lexington easily defeated Rogers in a trimatch, winning the two sets 25-13, 25-17. Addie McGee led the Golden Bears with 12 kills and two blocks while Sydney Corum had 10 kills and Savannah Stults had 20 assists.

For Rogers, Lindsay Hamner had 10 assists and Ashley Robertson had five kills and Brodie Belcher added four kills.

n Lexington 2, Muscle Shoals 1: Lexington had a much harder time with Muscle Shoals, needing three sets to pull out a close match. Lexington won the first set 25-21 before dropping the second set 25-27. The Bears came back to win the third set 15-12 to take the match.

Addie McGee led Lexington with 20 kills and three blocks while Sydney Corum had 15 kills and three blocks and Savannah Stults had 32 assists.

Muscle Shoals was led by Alex Hillman with 20 digs and Anna Beth Alexander with eight kills and 16 digs. Arsheana Rhodes had nine kills and 12 digs for the Trojans while Destiney Smith and Lexis Goodwin combined for 16 assists.

n Muscle Shoals 2, Rogers 0: Muscle Shoals was able to sweep Rogers, winning the two sets 25-16, 25-23. The Trojans were led by Rhodes with 11 kills and Annabeth Alexander with four kills and five digs. Lexis Goodwin and Destiney Smith combined for 14 assists while Rachel Hunter had three blocks.

Against Muscle Shoals, Hamner had 14 assists. Robertson finished with seven kills and Belcher had six kills.

n Loretto 3, Summertown 0: Loretto swept Summertown in three sets, but it wasn’t easy as each set went down to the wire. The Mustangs took the first set 25-23 before winning the final two sets by 25-22 margins. Makenzie Childress led Loretto with nine kills and 18 digs while Sabrie Sirmones had 10 digs, nine blocks and six kills. Shay Stutts had 15 digs, five kills and four assists in the win.

n Wilson 2, East Lawrence 0: Jennifer Schroeder accomplished a rarity, serving a perfect game in the second set of a 25-0 win against East Lawrence. She had eight ace serves in the game that followed a 25-15 win in the first set.

Schroeder also contributed eight digs while Ciarra Edwards had 15 kills. Lexie Bradley had nine kills and five digs, while Brianna Terrell had 22 assists.

n Wilson 2, Haleyville 0: Bradley and Edward had six kills each and Celina Ware added five kills for the Warriors. Ashley Arreola chipped in with three kills, while Schroeder had eight digs and Sierra Rinehard had seven digs. Terrell finished with 16 assists.

n Mars Hill 3, Cherokee 0: Mars Hill ran its winning streak to nine as the Panthers beat Cherokee.

The Panthers won 25-16, 25-17, 25-7. Mars Hill also won on Monday, beating Clements 3-0.

Mary Brook Willis led Mars Hill (19-9, 4-1 area) in the victory over Cherokee with 20 kills. Anna Katherine Green recorded 19 assists for Mars Hill.

n Colbert Heights 3, Sheffield 0: Colbert Heights clinched first place in Class 2A, Area 16 with a victory over Sheffield.

Breanna Buck served 16 aces to lead the Wildcats (7-5, 3-0 area). Courtney Mitchell had 11 aces and three kills. Madison Jimerson added eight kills and three aces for Colbert Heights.
