RegionalCare purchases Arizona hospital

RegionalCare Hospital Partners, owner Florence’s Eliza Coffee Memorial and Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals, has agreed to operate Sierra Vista Regional Health Center in Arizona, a RegionalCare official confirmed today.

Representatives from the two firms have also signed a letter of intent to build a new 100-bed facility for the Arizona hospital

RegionalCare is in the approval process to build a 300-bed hospital and cancer center in east Florence, which would replace ECM. A contested case hearing on the project is scheduled to begin the first week in February.
