Someone paid the price

A recent caller to the You Said It line suggested that President Obama should be thanked for providing gravy biscuits. Go to a local restaurant, place an order, and when it is delivered, tell the cashier that Obama will pay. Guess what? They will insist on cash.

As I reflected on this and the naive belief held by some that government will provide, I began to wonder how liberals viewed themselves. I suspect that their self-image is one of compassion and concern for others. Those are admirable traits but the liberal way of bending or breaking the law to use the labor of others to indulge these principles, along with forced contributions to their definition of what constitutes a worthy cause, is a gross injustice. That is socialism, plain and simple. A proven failure.

I would note that the person who was inclined to thank Obama did not consider that someone else paid the bill with money taken in the form of taxes on his/her labor. Justice?
