Store robbery under investigation

SHEFFIELD — Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred just before 6 p.m. Monday at Sheffield Tobacco and Deli on West Fifth Street.

Reports indicate a man wearing a green mask walked into the store, pulled a knife on the clerk and demanded money.

Police said the man turned the cash register around, took the money and left going toward Raleigh Avenue.

No one was hurt.

This is the third robbery since Friday in the Shoals.
