She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Thomas Canida Sr.; son, William Thomas Canida Jr.; daughter, Deborah Canida; parents, Edward and Johnnie Mae McClung; brothers, Edward Lee McClung, Roy McClung, Willie McClung.
The pallbearers will be Neal Canida, Luke Mitchell, Tyler Canida, Trey Canida, Tate Canida and Jeremy Mayfield.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family and friends loved her very much and she will be greatly missed by all.

Jo Ann Clayton 69, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Jan. 25, 2013, after a brief illness.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Sunday. Jan. 27, with funeral services in the chapel immediately following and then graveside burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Pastor Gale Grimaud and Brother Eddie Osborn will be officiating.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Kay Clayton; husband, Brown Mitchell; father of her children, Carl Clayton; and her father, Joe Pullum.
She is survived by her children, Shelah Stutts (Chris); Anthony "D.D." Clayton (Melinda); Denise Clayton (Carol Rose); her constant companion and beloved pet, Milo; grandchildren, Wendy Clayton, Haleigh Stevenson (Chris), Kyle Clayton and Hunter Stutts; great-grandchildren, Alexas Clayton and Jaidah Clayton; mother, Mamie Pullum; sister, Eloise Pullum Crow (Joe); brother, Morris Pullum; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jo Ann loved her family and friends; she never missed an opportunity to enjoy them and have everyone present at her home. She touched many lives with her kindness, generosity and acceptance of all people she encountered. Jo Ann retired from Reynolds Metals, where she worked in the cast house. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Elgen B. Fell Jr., age 86, of Sheffield, passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Fell was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served in World War II and the Korean War. He was retired from TVA as an electrician and was past commander of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lola Young Fell, of Sheffield; son: Jim Fell (Kay), of Florence; brother, Billy Fell, of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Virginia Schulte, of Ford City, Betty Jane Marler, of Iuka, Miss., Pauline Vonboekman, of Memphis, Tenn.; three grandsons; one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Billy Joe Prince, Sr., age 65, of Sheffield, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at Spry-Williams Funeral Home chapel, with Brother Mike Westfall officiating.

Mr. Prince was member of Grace Crossroads Church. He worked as a brick mason for 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Pearl Prince; brother, Homer Prince; sisters, Christine Dooley and Marie McClure; grandson, Alaric Steven Prince.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Clezell Prince; sons, Bill and Steven; daughter, Becky; seven grandchildren; brothers, Gene, of Alabama, Johnny, Robbie, Ronald and Donald, of Georgia; sister, Barbara Jean Simbeck, of Missouri.

Lucian Arnold Richey, 91, a native of Lauderdale County, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Glenwood Nursing Home after an extended illness.
He was a member of Faith Church, IBEW No. 558, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, serving in the No. 364 Bomb Group in Italy from 1941-1945.
Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, with the funeral service beginning at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Tommy James and the Rev. Mike Nash. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Richey was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Willie Mae Richey; grandson, David Weir; son-in-law, Lowell E. Cruse.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Louise Richey; daughters, Judith Ann Gamble and husband, Jimmy, Susan Cruse, Cynthia Flome; sisters, Ruth Martin and husband, Clyde, Barbara Gail Butler and husband, Jim; grandchild, Kathryn Susanne Cruse; and a special cat, Tuffy A.K.A. "Wichita" and "Fat Boy."
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
