Television rules games

I viewed the onslaught of personal fouls during the Florida-Georgia football game. That, along with the constant berating of official calls by the coaches, could cause one to express a personal contempt of the state of sports.

The Alabama game didn’t start until about 7:45 p.m. It’s all about accommodating television.

I call to mind a favorite of mine: The great Jack Voorhies announcing a late third quarter score from the West Coast. Only he did it on Monday morning.
