Three injured on Second Street

Emergency workers treat victims of a three-car accident today. Three people were taken to local hospitals for further treatment.

Three people were injured in a three-car accident this morning on Second Street, authorities said.

All three were take to local hospitals. Two went to Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, while a third was taken to Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence.

The accident happened at 7:44 a.m. in front of Johnson Contractors.

The Alabama Department of Public Safety is investigating the accident.
