FLORENCE — Tickets for the 2012 Harlon Hill Trophy and Division II Football Hall of Fame banquet are on sale for $50 each by contacting Judy Keenum at the Shoals Chamber of Commerce.

Keenum can be reached at 256-764-4661. The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center.

This year’s hall of fame induction includes former Fort Valley State defensive back Tyrone Poole, who later won two Super Bowls with the New England Patriots, and former Kutztown linebacker John Mobley, who won two Super Bowls with the Denver Broncos.

The three Harlon Hill Trophy finalists attending the banquet are senior running back Michael Hill, of Missouri Western State University, junior running back Franklyn Quiten, of Bloomsburg University, and junior quarterback Zach Zulli, of Shippensburg University. The 27th winner of the Hill Trophy will be announced at the banquet.
