UNA band to perform at Georgia Dome

FLORENCE — The University of North Alabama Pride of Dixie Marching Band was chosen as the sole guest performer at the Bands of America Marching Super Regional Fall Championship.

The UNA band will put on a show for 10,000 high school band students, directors and supporter on Oct. 27 in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.

This is the second time the Pride of Dixie has performed as a guest of the competition. The 220-member ensemble includes brass, woodwind and percussion sections and the majorettes, Lionettes dance team and the color guard.
