Veterans Drive closing for repairs

FLORENCE -- The railroad crossing on Veterans Drive will close for nearly a week to allow the Tennessee Southern Railroad Co. to replace the existing crossing.

The crossing will close Oct. 15 and reopen Oct. 18, according to the Florence Engineering Department.

Traffic will be rerouted to Huntsville Road.
