Weather causes 2 tournament games to be rescheduled
Staff reports

LEXINGTON — The threat of icy weather has prompted officials to reschedule two 8 p.m. games in the Lauderdale County basketball tournament today.

The games will be played Tuesday, officials said.

Tim Tubbs, assistant superintendent of education, said the varsity boys game between Lauderdale County and Waterloo and the B team girls game between Central and Brooks were scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.

All other games will be played as scheduled.

Tubbs said the two games have been rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, with the boys game being played in the new gym and the B team girls game being played in the old Lexington gym.
