Wilson Dam bridge closed for repairs

The Alabama 133 bridge across Wilson Dam will be closed for maintenance work at the dam beginning at 8 a.m., Monday.

The bridge will remain closed until the work is completed on Jan. 11. Officials say they expect to reopen the roadway that morning.

Signs will be placed at both ends of the bridge to alert traffic to find an alternate route. In the event of inclement weather, the work could be extended or rescheduled.
