With 25 signed, Alabama No. 1 in Rivals, 247Sports rankings

Alabama picked up two more signees this afternoon when running back Alvin Kamara of Norcross, Ga., and defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson of Fort Worth, Texas, submitted their paperwork. That gives the Crimson Tide 25 signees, and two recruiting services are willing to call the race for Alabama.

Rivals.com and 247sports.com are declaring the Crimson Tide as the recruiting national champions. Rivals also named Alabama No. 1 in 2008-09 and 2011-12.

Scout.com has Alabama third behind No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Michigan, with Notre Dame No. 4. Nobody has more signees ranked in Scout’s top 100 (Tide has 13) or Scout five-star players (Tide has five).
