Woman dies after wreck

GREENHILL -- Authorities said a Lauderdale County woman died at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital just before 5 p.m. today from injuries sustained in a two-car accident.

Donna Davis Argueta, 51, 5147 Lauderdale 36, Killen, died at the hospital, according to state troopers.

An ECM spokesman said Argueta died at 4:40 p.m.

Troopers said the accident happened at 3:52 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 43 and Alabama 64 in the Greenhill community.

John Glen Cornelius, 33, 5141 Lauderdale 73, Killen, was injured in the two-car accident, troopers said. He was taken to ECM.
