“I watched Gov. Bentley on TV Tuesday night and they asked him about gun control. To me, he doesn’t seem very concerned about it. The safety of our children means a lot to me and other parents and grandparents, too.”
“I see where my representative is wanting to deputize teachers. It reminds me of the old “Andy Griffith” where Barney deputized Goober, Gomer and Floyd. One, the AEA will never let their teachers do extra duties without extra pay. Two, this is a slap in the face to all law enforcement to make it look like teachers can do law enforcement’s work. Our representative needs to go back to renaming the state’s song and stay out of protecting our kids.”
“That Muscle Shoals policeman committed a gun crime on federal property. Why is he not being prosecuted by the federal government? Where is the enforcement of federal gun laws? The only time federal gun laws are enforced is when it furthers the call for more gun control. Enforce the laws on the books and leave law-abiding citizens’ guns alone.”
“Well, Congressman Mo Brooks has done it again. He voted against funding for Sandy relief, but for amendments to strip the bill. If we had a tornado or flooding in his district, I guess he’ll just take the aid from military or Social Security because he obviously doesn’t believe in any FEMA assistance and it certainly won’t be from his salary.”
“To the person who called in saying it’s irrational to be buying guns. The (person) that these liberals put into the White House is going to stomp all over our Second Amendment rights. We have to get the guns now before they become illegal.”
