“It was so refreshing to see the students at Muscle Shoals breaking ground for the new technical center instead of a bunch of suits trying to handle a shovel, who’ve never handled one before. It looks so awkward watching that.”

It seems to me that if ECM is going to be a good neighbor for this city, they need to have a share in providing a replacement finding or replacement for Westminster in helping to outfit it so it can care for the type of patients that Westminster takes.”

I recommend that all newspapers be limited to two editorials per day, both on the same subject - one pro and one con. That would be reasonable, and it should be enforced by the federal government.”

“I agree with the comments that those of us who have paid into Social Security and Medicare for a number of years have a right to get the money back, to be entitled. My problem with President Obama is he wants to entitle those that never paid a penny into Medicare or Social Security — and they are receiving our money.”

“If you want to know why Alabama teachers are not getting a raise this year, go to Montgomery and look at the Alabama Department of Environmental Management’s offices and look at the vehicles they drive and at the number of employees they have drawing large salaries. It’s a waste of taxpayers’ money. Taxpayers’ money needs to go toward educating our children.”
