  • "If we're ever going to restore this country, we're going to have to do three things. Install term limits for congressmen, make those who rule this country live under the same insurance for medical care that the rest of us have to live under and ban all lobbyists from D.C."

  • "To most of you folks that voted for Obama, I hope you're prepared to pay $5 a gallon for gasoline. Oh, I'm sorry. You don't have to buy gas to go to work. They mail your food stamps to you."

  • "I hope the good people of Alabama will please read this and listen. Don't let them repeal the Voting Rights Act that came in through Jack Kennedy's administration. Please don't let them. As a union rep I've been in Alabama and seen some of the shenanigans that goes on from Don Siegelman to different congressmen to senators to minority areas to Hispanic areas. Don't let them do it. It just favors the rich, the white."

  • "I have no intention of giving up my guns, however the NRA will certainly will never get anymore of my fees or dues."

  • "All you Obama lovers, enjoy this cheap gasoline we're getting. It's only going to go higher."

  • "It is strange that Obama is on vacation again so soon riding around in Air Force One at the cost of $180,000 an hour. Also, that Michelle has gone on vacation again. We taxpayers are paying for it. Seems they are taking advantage of their position. Surely he knows times are hard and he needs to get to work."

  • "I read every day in the paper where people are supporting what Mr. Grisham said at Lauderdale County High School because of his freedom to say what he wants to say. But, I think these people are only saying that because he said what they want to say. What if he had said he supported homosexuality or he supported abortion? Would these same people say he had the right to say whatever he wanted to say? To me, the bottom line is, as a teacher, you do not discuss those sort of things with your students. Period."

  • "Just remember, if we can pay at the hospital by insurance or out of pocket, we're probably paying up extra for someone else who can't. It's just not a federal write-off to us."

  • "Board of education and principals of Lauderdale County, we have a lot of good teachers who are abused every day by students cursing them, disrupting their classes, not following proper dress codes, wearing piercings of every kind — their ears, their tongues — wearing profanity on their clothes, Principals and board, do your job. Clean the schools up. Straighten the students up."

  • "Obama has given immunity from prostitution to the people involved in the largest illegal gun operation recently discovered, fast and furious. Now he wants to pass more gun laws limiting the law-abiding citizens. Why not enforce the laws we already have?"

  • "Back off, Helen Keller and Colbert County. Don't fight progress. Florence needs a new hospital and we're going to get it. Your rationale for a 220-bed hospital instead of a 300 bed is warped. Isn't it more sensible and cheaper to prepare for growth by building now instead of adding on later? Sheffield officials fought to keep the Shoals from getting a much needed additional bridge between our counties because it was not feasible to build west of Sheffield. Let's don't make the same mistake again with the new hospital."

  • "Muscle Shoals superintendent's contract held up. Guarantee you it's got something to do with sports or church. Forget the kids. Small town politics."

  • "To the ladies at the Florence Utility Department, I don't know why you have to be sarcastic or mean. I come in there to pay a bill. I didn't make any comments, but you all are always sarcastic and hateful. I have to be nice at my public job. You all should have to be nice at your public job."

  • "When are the people of the United States going to wake up and quit blaming guns for everything? Just look at President Obama's town and city of Chicago. It's a weapon-free zone inside the city limits. There have been 40 homicides inside city limits since Jan. 1 to the end of January. When are the people going to wake up and start protecting themselves and quit worrying about the government protecting them? Because the government don't care about you."
